Does Your Company Bleed Value?
Time go beyond the tourniquet.
Here’s a quick thought experiment:
Imagine if each night, 100s of thousands of dollars, or even millions of dollars, were automatically withdrawn for no reason from your company’s bank account.
And if your Chair or CEO came to you and asked, “Where did all that money go?”, you’d say, “Honestly, I don’t know.”
And if your Chair or CEO then asked, “Well, will it be back here tomorrow?”, you’d say again, “Honestly, I don’t know.”
Now think of your best employees, the best talent, in your organization.
Each night, they too leave, creating a temporary negative balance in your company’s “account”.
How much are they worth to your organization?
Will they come back? Will they return?
And why should they?
And if, like above, you honestly don’t know, it’s time to find out.
Because if you don’t, just hope your competition doesn’t figure it out either.
